For me they do not come high enough up on the leg. I'm average height (5'10) and they sit below my boots which isn't comfortable for me.
The sock seems durable, they are comfortable as well when wearing them at work with shoes. I don't use them as I had hoped for hunting and hiking. They are work socks now and my feet don't smell like sewage after a long day like they do with cotton socks. So that's a plus.
If your boots are lower cut they may be perfect for you. Not for me.
