I recently purchased a pair of black Peaklander boots size 11 to replace previous Berghaus boots and Zamberlan boots. Very impressed with the quality and thickness of the leather, a very supportive protective boot, instantly comfortable and true to size. Comparative quality and weight to the Zamberlan boots, slightly heavier but sturdier than the Berghaus. Perfect for rough or uneven ground and at 16 stones and 6 foot, ideal for my stature. I treated with a full coat of Kiwi black boot polish prior to first wear. Only owned for two weeks but very impressed so far. Appears to be a high quality product.
