My daughter and son-in-law had purchased a Groupon for my husband and myself, as a gift last Christmas, 2016. It was for a dolphin sightseeing tour in St. Augustine, FL, and expired 12/31/17. I was going to book a tour after returning from a cruise on 12/4/17. But when I pulled up the Groupon, it was saying it was Redeemed on 12/1/17 at 6 something PM. Well, at that day and time, we were out to sea on the cruise. I had never marked it Redeemed. Multiple emails back and forth to Groupon, even mentioning that my daughter had purchased it, and no resolution was made. They continued to say that I had "Redeemed" the Groupon, which I never did! With only a few days remaining on this Groupon, they told me that my daughter needed to email them, since she was the one who purchased it. She did, and still nothing! Two days before expiration, I received an email, addressed to my daughter, who has her own email, with which she emailed them from. They cancelled that Groupon and said that they are refunding her in Groupon Bucks, but not the total price that she had paid. I had to forward the email to her, since they never contacted her. I'm so angry with them and will never buy another Groupon again!!!! Their customer service STINKS!!!
