SCAM! THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!! DO NOT BUY
I bought a voucher for a restaurant via Groupon, and I made reservations on the Groupon app. However, few weeks after I made the reservation, Groupon cancelled it, and I chose a new date. This happened several times, every time I booked a new date, Groupon would cancel it without specifying why.
At this point I did not wish to go through with it and I requested a refund. Mind you, according to their plans you can request a refund for a voucher. However, after requesting a refund, they let me know that they do not wish to give me the refund, and they are using the corona crisis as an excuse in their email? They specifically told me, the businesses they’re working with are losing money, and they have to support them, which is why they won’t give me a refund. I do not understand how that is my or anyone’s problem, and why my money is being funded to businesses who are losing money. They keep referring me to their policies, but nowhere in their policies does it state that. After a long dialogue with them, they are still refusing to give me my money back, and they can not even give a valid reason why.
They are THIEVES who are STEALING costumers money. They are using this crisis to make people buy vouchers, cancel them and steal the money. This a SCAM company, DO NOT BUY!!
And the costumer service are the most rude people I have ever talked to. I have never received such a bad costumer service, which such a rude attitude from anyone before. They do not even understand their own policies, and i have tried twice where they made up fake policies, to avoid giving refund.
I do not recommend anyone to ever use this app. If I could give them zero stars, I would.
