I purchased a fragrance from Gucci (first time ever buying from the brand). They were able to sell it using distance pay and it was delivered fast. I was so ecstatic to open the package and when I opened it, guess what, the product was in a dust bag and wrapped in blue bubble wrap. All the regular cards/receipts were there but I expected so much from Gucci. In their website it clearly stated complementary gift wrapping on all orders. I told the store and customer service it was a gift and it looks bad to give the fragrance in a dust bag! Also said if I go to the store they would even give me at least that paper bag!! I got so frustrated at them. Sales associate was at first reluctant to send over box and bag saying they didn’t have. However, when I completed the customer survey and gave them poor feedback, they called me and apologised and said they had found spare box and bag for the item and will ship it (overnight delivery). Overall, I’m just appalled with their service and I hated how I had to request for such a small yet essential thing that I should’ve received in the first place. Clearly, I think the sales associate got scared after I complained to customer client service and completed the survey, and gave them the worst feedback. Another thing to note is that sales associate and some client service representative can’t speak English that well so it was very hard to understand them and them to understand me. Overall, I don’t think I’ll buy from any Gucci store again. Possibly will consider second hand but this brand I swear - I can’t trust them anymore.
