The customer handling by this firm could be better. When another staff member picked up the case, the ball was dropped. It proved weirdly hard to get a cost out of them. Even when paying, they seemed to want my card details without telling me the cost. But still 5 stars, because the electrician was knowledgeable and professional. The first visit was due to be a fault find - which he did, quickly. He then gave me the choice between going into the wall (which I had expected) as a quite big job. Or converting the circuit to radial from ring and leaving the problem cable buried. This was quite a quick and easy job, which of course I went for. He came back next day for a 10-minute completion (16 amp changed to 20 amp). I informed the firm after the first visit what I thought would be a fair charge (to include the follow-up next day). Their hourly rate is not the cheapest, but in the end they charged less than I had suggested. Overall they seem nice and competent people, including the office, but they might be busy and under pressure. If it was my firm I'd take an hour to reflect and discuss customer service points in a training meeting, but the bottom line is you will get a good result, so just take a deep breath when necessary.
