I booked my car for MOT and oil service. The car was left at the Warwick branch at 8:15. The time is now 17:00 and the car is not ready yet.
They called me saying the MOT has failed due to some suspension arms. Fair enough. I asked them, why did you not have a look at the car first, before the actual test, since it was part of the service package I paid for ("Full Service and MOT"). It would have helped to not have a failed MOT test. I could have repaired it first and only after to have the test done. No proper answer.
Anyway, they quoted me roughly £240 for the repair to be carried out. I refused their offer as I thought it's too much. Ringed a garage I used before and they quoted me £130 for the same work.
As a conclusion, personally, I will never use their services again. They're not only greedy, but they're also, frankly, not very smart. A check before the actual test would have convinced me to go ahead with that repair as I wanted the MOT test passed and done with it.
