Booked and paid for an MOT online. Turned up for the appointment. Was told they didn’t know anything about the booking and couldn’t MOT it anyway as the vehicle was too long for their ramp despite entering the vehicle details being entered at the booking stage. Mechanic had zero customer service skills and seemed to think he’d done me a big favour by refunding the fee for the MOT that wasn’t carried out.
Atrocious online booking system that doesn’t communicate with their own centres coupled with borderline rude centre staff with no customer service skills or appreciation for the inconvenience caused.
Won’t be using Halfords again if I can help it!!
