Initially when viewing used car I pointed out that one of the rear seatbelts had been chewed by a a dog. I mentioned that this would be an m.o.t. failure but was advised that was a harsh failure. Since then taken car to m.o.t. and guess what it failed on seat belt at a cost to me of £300. Further to that it also failed on positioning lamps,on both sides (for those of you that don’t know what we called sidelights) these are sealed units which you cannot replace light bulbs and has cost me an additional £860 each to replace each unit. All Hampshire Car Sales have offered me is a £100 “good will gesture”
