Mark Pickett if the director of this company now running advertisements in Southend Echo using the logo's of consumer protection organisations of which he is not a member, and in breach of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. He uses the logo's to deceive consumers to believe they are protected by the Home Improvement Protection (HIP) scheme and that his products and installations are approved by the British Board of Agrement (BBA). HIP members provide a deposit protection and insurance backed guarantee and BBA members are approved and audited installers under a product and installation certification scheme. NEITHER MARK PICKETT OR THIS COMPANY HOLD ANY MEMBERSHIPS OF HIP OR BBA AND ARE NOT ENTITLED TO USE THESE LOGO'S IN ANY ADVERTISING. Consumers should beware because you have no protection with these organisations when using Hanson Roofing and Building Ltd because these logo's are being used illegally.
