We have had Solar panels since May 2018 - love in Taupo,and had been thinking of getting a Tesla Powerwall battery for some time. We arranged a visit from the Waikato installer , David ,in April. He was very, very thorough, making sure we had enough panels to make the installation of a battery appropriate for our circumstances. He explained the workings of the battery in-depth, and we went ahead and paid the deposit. He had told us that due to shipping delays etc., we may not get the battery until late August - early Sept. - but possibly earlier. He kept us updated throughout the waiting time and in early September, he installed it. Due to staffing shortages, he had to work on his own, but he arrived on a Saturday, and stayed until the installation was complete.
