We went to have lunch this week in the new spacious cafe/restaurant . The tuna/cheese panini was OK. I ordered the Festive Christmas sandwich. It was very disappointing. One very thin slice of pre-sliced re-formed turkey from a packet , a few thin ribbons cut from a rasher of bacon, some cranberry sauce and the main ingredient ( after the bread) was a tasteless doughy stuffing which looked like wallpaper paste..lumps of it. Yuk. Never have I felt less festive .. I am sure that Harts CAN do better than that offering. I love the shop apart from that but i am not keen to use the cafe again for food. ! Resident of Dorset .
