I purchased hair straighteners in store at Harvey Nicholls Bristol as a gift, however the recipient would like to exchange them. I have tried to return these only to be told: "Sorry to inform you that hair straighteners are labelled under hair accessories, making them non-returnable or exchangeable." When these were purchased at no point did a member of Harvey Nicholls staff mention that these were non returnable. In fact, I was offered a gift receipt. I consider this to be misleading and unfair.
