The Orchards Holiday Park - Haven Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, England Write your review I visited with family and we had three caravans between us. All of the caravans were dirty and two had carpets that stank and were covered in animal urine stains. My sister complained at the time and two members of staff visited. They told my sister that they could spray febreeze or put in a machine which would suck out the smell - no mention of cleaning or moving to a clean caravan. My caravan was Gold Standard, it was absolutely filthy and stank - the worst caravan I have ever stayed in. The carpet was so disgusting that I covered it with my dog blankets but had to leave the outside doors open whilst watching T.V. because of the smell. Haven central staff sent a generic corporate reply to my complaints - they made no comment about the photographs of the carpet. Absolutely appalling customer service.
