We're delighted we went with Hawksbeck for our garden outbuilding (office with kitchenette and small toilet/shower room, plus small gym room). We've yet to start using the building in earnest, but I've been so impressed throughout by their attention to detail, quality and the friendliness of the whole team. We got quotes from several different providers and Hawksbeck stood out in terms of the quality of the product they're offering (e.g. BBA Certified SIPs panels and industry-leading insulation, finish), really knowing their stuff, and understanding our needs. They're also a full-service provider meaning they can handle everything from ground works, foundations, services, construction, electrics and plumbing to painting and landscaping (as required). The process was as smooth as could be hoped for given the uncertainty and complexity of a building project like this, but it was very reassuring to have their team organising and directing all the various tradespeople (all of whom were friendly and accommodating). Parts of the build that worried me (e.g. water connection, sewage connection with pump, internet connectivity) proved to be no real issue at all (which I guess isn't surprising given how many of these outbuildings they do). As, inevitably, small additional pieces of work cropped up that we wanted to be done (e.g. building of a garden path and patio), they were able to plan, manage and execute these in the same professional manner that we'd already experienced.
