I bought a Bathmaster bath chair lift and swivel seat in good faith for my 85 year old mum. Unfortunately the bath chair did not fit in the bath and so I requested a refund and was refused due to some law about them not accepting refunds due to hygiene reasons. This chair had never been used. Imagine if we could only touch a medical device once in the NHS! There was no goodwill gesture and so i am left with equipment that is useless and i paid over £370. I think this get out clause is unacceptable and targets the elderly or infirm. Do not fall into the same trap.
