I learned an important lesson today - if you have a crack in your windshield your insurance will likely automatically feed you to Autoglass- but did you know you may pay less going with a different company and get better service? Ask your insurance company. I’m with Hedgehod and after several phone calls found out I would pay only £50 pounds and have the job done immediately if I went with a different windshield repair company (My Car Glass) or 90 if I went with Autoglass and I’d have to wait 6 days and have no use of my car for 6 days- and I would have to wait all day for the appointment thus missing a day of work- it’s a total scam!! Don’t use Autoglass for windshield repair!! Tell your insurance company to let you choose the company to replace your windshield !!
