I am writing to report a distressing incident that recently occurred while using Booking.com. Unfortunately, I fell victim to a scam that has resulted in the theft of $350 from my account. I had made a legitimate reservation through Booking.com and received a confirmation email. However, after a couple of days, I received a message that appeared to be from the hotel, on Booking.com Platform (Mobile App) which stated that my booking might be cancelled due to an error during verification of your payment method and that Booking.com requires to verify my payment method and confirm my identity as a holder. Believing it was a legitimate request as the message came from within Booking.com site message platform itself, I provided the requested information. This resulted in the deduction of USD 150 and USD 199 in two separate instances by Hellcase.com Limassol CYP from my credit card during my card verification process. How can Hellcase.com charge me when I don't know them, neither have any business with them nor have never ordered anything from them and how can they claim that amount from my credit card from my bank. Thats daylight robbery. You guys are robbers and are linked with scammers.
