I had a truly disappointing experience with Hermes, and it's safe to say we will never be returning. The customer service is absolutely atrocious. The staff treated us with such arrogance, speaking to us as if we were beneath them and that we were unworthy of even being in their store. It's incredibly off-putting to be made to feel as though the brand is somehow too good for you, as if you should feel privileged to even consider purchasing their products.
Sadly, this isn't the first time we've encountered this attitude. We’ve had the same experience at Hermes locations in both the USA and Europe, so it seems to be part of the company culture, not just an isolated incident. It’s a stark contrast to the welcoming and professional service we've received at other high-end brands like Gucci and Louis Vuitton, where we've always felt valued as a customer.
For a brand that prides itself on exclusivity, they certainly know how to push customers away. we’ve lost all interest in purchasing from Hermes, and we’ll be sure to share our experience with others. There’s simply no reason to spend money on products from a company that makes you feel like you don't deserve their merchandise. Hermes has lost a customer for life.
