I had the worst experience with this company First, I called to inquire about the costs so there wouldn’t be any hidden fees. The phone rang for half an hour without any answer, so I hung up since they didn’t say what my position in the queue was. Then, the automated system offered to call me back, so I agreed and waited another half an hour. When they finally called back, it rang for a split second, and I couldn’t pick up in time. I went to the center, and the reception service was the worst it could be. The staff member just wanted to hand me the keys, give her routine talk, and get rid of me, even though there was only one other person waiting who wasn’t in a hurry. The car I requested turned out to be different from what I received—completely different brand. They mention on the website that there’s a deposit, but they don’t specify it’s 2000 SEK. Why not clearly state the amount? I’ll never rent from Hertz again, and I don’t recommend anyone does.
