I have hallux ridgidus which is when the big toe starts to fuse. I was diagnosed over 6 years ago with both toes having this awful condition.
I was unable to wear normal closed shoes because of the pain. The shoes i was able to wear were old fashioned and expensive.
A few weeks ago my daughter in law introduced me to Dude shoes. The slip on canvas are fantastic and i am no longer having to wear just flip flops. No pain at all. Fantastic. I feel i have my freedom back with style.
