There’s no doubt that these are exceptional shoes for a) slightly wacky people and b) for those with any kind of foot problem: bunions, weird toes, wide flipper-like feet etc. I belong to both categories. I bought my first pair when recovering from a ripped Achilles’ tendon and I needed shoes that were completely and totally comfortable. Since then I have bought three more pairs and am now a Hey Dude Shoes foot fetishist. They’re not quite 100% brilliant because the stitching isn’t perfect and the threads on two pairs wave about. But hey dude, you can’t have everything.
