I got converted to Dude shoes about four years ago. Getting older ( I am 72 years) your feet take on a mind of their own and change shape, with various lumps and knots which require a wide fit. Dude shoes fit that bill, but in addition are extremely light, a pleasure to walk in (feels like they are an expensive pair of trainers - as if walking on air) and versatile - suitable for the beach, garden, of just everyday urban use. The bonus is that there are a good range of colours and styles and the price is very competitive. Add to that the fact that they are relatively long lasting and easy to keep clean and Dude shoes convey a complete package for me. 5 stars ? - yes, definitely.
