hi-fi-tower Customer support - stopped responding after 1 month of correspondence.
I bought a KLARSTEIN air fryer oven from eBay's "hi-fi-tower" Shop.
(It looks like they are the same company).
On June 26, 2023, I received it.
25 May 2024 it broke - I contacted by email the same day.
What is the returns policy?
hifi-tower : In the event that a fault develops after this 30 days, your item is covered by a one year warranty from the date of delivery. Please contact us via email: service..hifi-tower.co.uk and our team will help with your request.
I contacted by email (3 EMAIL SENT) as the eBay site advised - NO RESPONSE AT ALL.
So, I sent 1st message on eBay on 28 May 2024.
29 June 2024 - I sent to them 20 messages (!!!????!!!!!) on eBay.
And I received 10 answers.
1) They never respond by clicking the reply button on eBay, but always open a new thread. It's very convenient for them to play the fool.
They assigned to me and closed 2 ticket numbers and opened a third one.
4 times they asked me to confirm the date of purchase, what the item was, etc.
Despite the fact that all this is recorded on their/my eBay page, including the delivery date - which I can see NOW.
I sent as requested: photos and videos (by email) - they accepted them.
The last letter I received 3 times (during 2 weeks) was the same:
"In order to fulfil your return label request, we need an assistance, and we can confirm that we have already forwarded your request to the responsible department. Once we have an answer, we will reach out to you immediately."
And now they just ignore my messages.
Please advise whether I should start by publishing this story all over the Internet, or should I contact a consumer protection organization right now?
I would be very grateful for any advice.
