I also like that you can register your key on their website so that if you lose it they will be able to make you a new one. I recently bought the D1000 and I think this U/D lock will frustrate a lot of bike thieves. It’s a bit heavy to carry but if you truly care about your bike not being stolen and to have that peace of mind I think that added wait is okay.
