I remember when it first opened it opperated from a small garage size premises in Fulham. Hitchcook glass was well-known and it was young Richard dicks son who started the wood yard it was not very long before hatchbacks took over larger premises in Fulham, and also acquired harbour and parks in Dalling Road Hammersmith. I have now retired but I used hitchcocks all my working life. I remember Paul the manager at Fulham he was there for years, what a helpful man, in my opinion it was miles ahead of the rest, I used to do a lot of work in central London and they would deliver my materials at 7 am.
