I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with H&M. I purchased two items and paid extra for next-day delivery. The Arket item, which was sold by H&M, did not arrive on time. It was not made clear when paying extra for faster delivery that only the H&M item would be delivered the next day. While it did state that items might arrive in separate packages, I have had similar experiences with other reputable companies like Next and Marks and Spencer, where items are shipped from different warehouses or stores. When I attempted to return the item, I encountered more issues. I was not informed that the Arket item had to be returned directly to Arket, nor that I would be charged a $25 return fee (which is half the cost of the sweatshirt). This lack of transparency is unacceptable, especially when my contract was with H&M. Other retailers like Next and Marks and Spencer would never allow this kind of confusion and hidden fees for third-party returns. They make their return policies clear at the time of purchase and do not impose additional costs on customers. It is frustrating that H&M has failed to communicate these policies properly, leaving me with an item I no longer need or want, along with unexpected additional costs. I would expect more from a company of this size. I will not be shopping here again until this issue is addressed. I have informed the company by Chat (Luke) and Email (Cleo) with no resolution.
