The company will not provide you with the deposit amount for the company until you will confirm booking. "Sufficient funds" can be from £250 to £1600.
My case was that I came to collect the car and their system was down. I waited around an hour and when no progress happened I decided to cancel. When asked for the refund, I got the response from Daniella, Holiday Autos representative: "you change your mind and cancel the booking because you didn't want to wait the system back to work."
