Barclayfield cottage in Perthshire.
The cottage itself is lovely but the road up to it is horrendous. It is a mile of narrow twists and turns and the surface is pretty much just broken up rocks. It does say in the description that it is a rough track but that doesn’t come even close to describing just how bad it is. Of course, I was not allowed to say this in my review and it wasn’t published. Be warned, unless you’re an experienced rally driver your heart will be in your mouth driving on that road.
