I adored a mirror from HomesDirect365 on 6th February 2016 and it was eventually delivered yesterday, 21 June. Nowhere on the website details for the product did it state the it was made to order and therefore that delivery might be delayed, in fact it was listed as "in stock". During the period (over 4 months) between order and delivery I received 2 email updates, but each giving the wrong estimate for when they would deliver (about a month in each case). I would much prefer a truthful update apologising and stating full length of delay than these frequent lies.
When the mirror was delivered yesterday the delivery man was in a tremendous hurry, thrusting paperwork at me to sign despite the fact it clearly states that you're signing off on quality of good received - how I was supposed to know that while they were still in the box I'm not sure.
On unwrapping the mirror it was as described and a nice product, but with a small chip in the gilt at the base on one side. Owing to the huge delay to get to this point I'm reluctant to even both trying to get this fixed, but I certainly won't be ordering from the company again. What a hassle.
