I placed an order on 25th May, the item was only delivered on 4th August. At first I waited 6 weeks with no communication from them. I reached them and they arranged delivery within 2 weeks. The item that then arrived was badly damaged on the leg. I arranged a return and was told that an undamaged item would be delivered on the same day as the collection. This did not happen. The TV stand was collected on 10th July and no new item was delivered. I was advised that the item would be delivered the next Monday. It did not come, I phoned and they promised it would come the following Monday. It did not arrive again. I phoned and complained and asked for partial refund due to this hassle and our TV standing on the floor. After a heated conversation I was told they would give me a £10 refund on this £199.99 item. To date, no refund received! I gave up and contacted my bank due to non-receipt of the order and my bank refunded me immediately. The next day HomesDirect started calling me frantically, wanting to deliver a new item. Even though I told them I do not want the item anymore, I had enough hassle, they insisted. And today, I did receive the item, undamaged. This took 3 months of me not having a TV stand and an agreement of a £10 refund that was never received. I experienced incredibly bad customer service and will absolutely never order from them again.
