In theory, this is a fun idea, especially for your beer-loving loved ones. But NOTHING was fulfilled as expected and all we got in the end was a sassy response from customer service about their terms & conditions. I initially ordered the Domestic Beer Subscription. As soon as I place the order, the Craft Mystery Box popped up w/ the same price. I realized, my husband would MUCH rather have that. This was my hasty mistake, of course, but I called customer service first thing in the morning, but no response. So I emailed and got a quick response. The website says deliveries go out the first Monday of the month. It did not. It went out the next day, which was the last week of July. So it was too late to cancel the first box, but CS was very helpful and said, no problem, we'll change you to the Craft Mystery Box for the remaining 2 months. Great! Nope. Come September, mid-month, still nothing. So I checked tracking. It had gotten stuck in processing. OK, no big deal, it happens. I contact CS again, they'e very helpful and apologetic and get the order shipped. We receive it quickly, in like 2-3 days! BUT, we got the exact same box as before, which didn't even include any domestic beers, but rather mass-produced imports (Corona, Fosters, Heineken, etc.). AND, they sent 2 boxes at once - so 2 months worth of boxes at the same time, containing mostly the same beers. So I contact CS again - Oops, another mistake. Not a single craft beer has existed yet. And that's when it went downhill. CS now claims I requested to have the next 2 boxes delivered together. When I asked for proof, they ignored that question entirely. Now they start spitting out their fine print in their terms & conditions, including stuff like "in RARE cases entire boxes need to be substituted" and finished off with, "We are sorry if you are not pleased with the selection of beers, but there is nothing we can do about it at this point." They literally NEVER sent a single craft beer (what we wanted) or domestic beer (what I had initially ordered). Only common imports that you can buy at any grocery story. I get it - you're paying for the experience, not the beer. But don't say you have craft beers when in the course of 2 months you, apparently, are completely out of inventory of craft beers??? So in summary, they were initially very helpful with the problems and then did a total about-face and basically said, "F*ck off there's nothing we can do." So definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND.
