It was an ideal location for us at the centre of Beadnell village surrounded by characterful buildings and 3 good eateries on the doorstep (almost literally!). Although the property was at the centre it was also very quiet and peaceful. In addition it was a short walk to a truly beautiful beach. The accommodation was well presented, clean and pretty well resourced although sand hadn't been cleaned properly from the floors and sofa, I had to get the hoover out for both. We were asked to pay a £250 damage deposit in advance which is reasonable but when we arrived there wasn't any paperwork identifying what was already broken/damaged in the property but there were a couple of things that appeared to be broken so we didn't use them, such as a table lamp and the blind over the kitchen sink. The courtyard garden looked rather unloved which is a shame because it has potential to be lovely.
