Great Location, Spacious House, but Major Issues with WiFi and Hot Water
We recently stayed at Hampton House and were impressed with the location and the spaciousness of the house. It’s a great spot for a large group, with plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The place was clean and well-maintained, which we appreciated.
However, our experience was marred by a few significant issues. The WiFi was not working at all during our entire stay, despite bringing it up with customer service every day. Unfortunately, it never got resolved, which was very frustrating and added unnecessary stress to what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday.
Additionally, the bathrooms on the top floor had no access to hot water. This meant our entire group had to use a single bathroom, leading to long waits and inconvenience. We also reported this to customer service, but received no response.
The most concerning issue, however, was that we were locked out of the house for four hours because the lock wasn’t working. We had young children with us, and waiting outside for that long was incredibly frustrating. After repeatedly calling customer service, we were told the pin should be working, but no one was sent out to help. We eventually had to climb through a window to get inside something we should never have had to do.
While the house itself has potential and the location is fantastic, these issues with basic amenities really detracted from our stay. For the price we paid, we expected a much smoother experience. Hopefully, these problems can be addressed for future guests.
