Hotel Catullo :-) Food :-) Wine :-) Sirmione :-) Lake Garda :-) Italy :-) Eleven years ago we first stayed at the Catullo and we keep going back, I have described the Catullo has the hotel that runs on kindness, every member of staff is kind and considerate and never intrusive. The hotel reflects the personality of it's owner manager, every detail is for the comfort of the its' guests. The style is very tradditional Italian but with a special flair of modern art. Most of the rooms are small but comfortable with side views of the lake. The larger lake facing rooms are in high demand especially in the 1000 Miglia Classic Car Event week in May. The historic town of Sirmione is truly wonderful but can be very crowded at peak times when it attracts many day trippers.
