My wife’s parents ordered a foot stool which wasn’t suitable. They wanted to return it but the return label is printed very cheaply and as it was put on the box, the bar code smudged. The carrier who called to collect it refused to take it as he couldn’t scan the bar code. My wife phoned to request some new labels but was repeatedly told that they couldn’t speak to her as she hadn’t ordered it. My wife explained that her parents were in their 90s and couldn’t cope with the stress of calling. They also refused to give her a returns address so that she could just post it back again saying that they could only speak to who ordered it. All of this is on a chargeable call line.
The level of customer service is unacceptable and I couldn’t recommend House of Bath to anyone.
