Never get the next day delivery service. I ordered from HOF online on Friday and selected next day delivery at a cost of £9.99. It says on their website that if you order by 8pm you can get your order next day. So this is what I did, as I needed the items for the Saturday night. I then received an email at 7.36am on the Saturday morning (day of supposed delivery) stating that my items have been delayed and will not be delivered today, delivery will now be on Sunday. I contacted HOF straight away saying that as the items will no longer be delivered today (Saturday) I no longer need them, so please cancel my order. As there is no phone number to call them I had to send an email. My order came arrived on Sunday between 11-12, I then received an email from their customer services stating that I can refuse the items (bit late now) or send them back and that they have processed a refund for the delivery costs. I then emailed back saying that as I no longer require the goods and that they were delivered late, please can they send me a prepaid label so that I can return the goods. Kimberley came back to me stating that they don't send labels as the goods are not damaged. I then checked the refund, and it seems that Kimberly only refunded £3 this being the difference between regular delivery and next day delivery. What a joke. I then emailed again stating the obvious that HOF are promoting false advertising as they have no intention of delivery next day, which I am sure is against the law. This time Liam came back to me stating that he has refunded the remaining amount of the next day delivery but will not be sending a prepaid label as the goods are damaged. (still waiting for the refund by the way) I will have to send back the goods at my own cost. He also tried to say that the delayed delivery was not down to them but to DPD. I stated that I received the above email at 7.36am on Saturday morning, so how can it be DPD's fault if they had not received the goods. He even told me to go to trading standards So, my question is this, why does HOF think that it is acceptable to advertising next day delivery, something that they cannot fulfil and then the customer must pay for the return delivery at their own cost. So, my order total was £252.99, and I have received a refund of £3.00. Once I return the goods at a cost of £11.15 to myself, I will get a refund for the goods. However, I am still out of pocket by £11.15 for goods that I no longer need because HOF stated false advertising on their website. Imagine this, how much money HOF would make for not fulfilling deliveries but charging for them and customers not bothering to complain because they think this is normal. HOF has no moral compass, and I most definitely will not be shopping their again
