I have been a devoted customer of House of Fraser for many years, always appreciating their top-notch products and exceptional customer service. Throughout the years, I have made countless purchases with confidence in the quality and service this reputable retailer offered.
Unfortunately, my recent experience has changed my view considerably. I bought a wardrobe set for £249.99, only to see the price drop to £199.99 within 24 hours. Despite the short time frame and the fact that the wardrobes hadn't been delivered yet, my request for a price adjustment was refused. This rigidity and disregard for loyal customers are disheartening and indicate a significant decline in the company's customer service standards.
To make matters worse, the wardrobe set, which was supposed to be delivered by July 6th, still hasn't arrived. When I reached out to customer service for an update, I received no response. This lack of communication and failure to deliver the product only added to my frustration and disappointment.
Although the previous customer service response was polite, it was inflexible and did not address the fairness of my request. This experience has left me feeling undervalued and frustrated, leading me to reconsider future purchases from House of Fraser.
It is disappointing to witness such a well-established company struggle to uphold the core values that once distinguished it. I hope House of Fraser listens to customer feedback and takes the necessary steps to restore its reputation and regain customer trust.
