Spoke to Hyundai UK "Customer Services" on the phone regarding a warranty issue. They are unable to tell me if a part diagnosed as faulty by a local garage would be covered under the terms of a Hyundai warranty. Their warranty team will not deal with customers, only Hyundai dealerships. Although a mechanical fault has been diagnosed it's not accepted by Hyundai unless you take your car to them & pay them an extortionate fee for them to diagnose a fault so they can then supposedly liaise with their warranty team to see if the fault is covered. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Forget about any kind of after service from Hyundai unless you use them for everything throughout your Hyundai vehicle ownership.
