What has gone wrong at Ideal World?
Called customer services last week to pay off eight flexi pays and have them new cards details.
All payments showed as pending and the as paid on my card account.
Today get an email telling me that one if the 8 has been declined even though it shows as being paid on my card account.
Noticed that the other seven show no payment being received even though should mow be clear.
Callef customer service again. Told be the card details had not been updated at all and that as he was working from home is was unable to help.
Apparently I will now get a call from one of the Specialist Team within 24 hours.
Been shopping with Ideal World now for many years and never had this problem. Seems like customer service has been farmed out to a random call centre somewhere in the world, and they are clueless to help with reading off an on screen script. Such a shame as they always tried to give a more personal service.
Perhaps off to QVC might be an idea.
