I placed an order on July 5, 2022 for a custom dress for an event on July 15th. The dress was shipped out FedEx and has been sitting in Memphis, Tennessee for approximately 6 weeks. I spoke to FedEx customer service rep Carlos. He advised me that IGIGI needed to contact them in order to resolve an issue with customs. I reported these details to the igigi support team July 31. They were not helpful because they did not seem to comprehend that the dress was to be delivered to my address in Maryland, not Tenessee. Support asked me for directions to my home. I told them in writing that the dress is in the wrong state. They asked for patience, it is 4 weeks later and I still don’t have my purchased item and have not been provided any status as to when it will be delivered. This is extremely unacceptable as I paid significantly for this purchase. This company does not accept accountability for their mistake. The correct address was provided in the purchase order. I will never understand why it was mailed from Mexico to the wrong state in USA. They were advised in writing the required actions from FedEx as the payer for the shipment. FedEx will not provide me additional detail because I did not originate the shipment. They will only deal with the originating company which is IGIGI. This has not been my experience with my other purchases. Support claims that the management has not changed. This appears to be a scam because support has made no attempt to call snd explain why my purchase is late and how they plan to correct the problem to get me my purchased custom dress for $218 US.
