I am not one to write bad reviews for companies, but I honestly do not know how IKEA stays in business. Ordered a sofa online a month ago and have had to call IKEA multiple times to get updates on delivery after hearing nothing for a month. Have had to wait on hold multiple times for over an hour only to be told that my delivery keeps being delayed.
Finally talked to someone at the delivery company IKEA uses and found out that even though I placed my order on 11/2, IKEA didn't send my order to them until 11/28, which was AFTER my estimated delivery date. Ended up just canceling my order because my new delivery date was not even a guarantee, but now have to wait 7-14 days to receive a refund for my order.
Most frustrated about the lack of transparency on IKEA's part of how long my order would actually take to get delivered and the inability of their customer service department to be much help at all getting answers. Glad I was able to cancel my order and will not be purchasing from them again.
