What nightmare. We ordered a bed and frame($1300) and received everything except the slats to put the bed on therefore rendering the frame useless. After an hour on the phone they suggested we drive the 4 hours to the closest IKEA to pick them up which we refused
to do. The best they could do was send them out 6 days later. Really 6 days? We ended up buying temporary wood at a local hardware store($$$). The delivery day came and went, still no slats. They arrived 10 days later. When we called customer service the compensation they offered was to waive the delivery fee. Seriously? I emailed them again explaining that is not reasonable compensation since we had already hired a handyman to put the bed together then had to put out $$ for the temporary slats. They came back with a $35 gift card which I still felt was ridiculous. Hours(and I mean hours) waiting on the phone for customer service they changed it to $50 and advised me that is the final offer. Never again, their service is awful and they really don't care a bit. If I was smarter I should have refused payment on my CC for merchandise not received. They even had nerve to emphasize they were very generous to waive to delivery fee. Gee, you waive the delivery fee for something you didn't deliver? Horrible to deal with if you have a problem.
