I ordered an eGift Card online as a Christmas gift for my my daughter and son in law. They state on their website that: "All gift card and e-gift card purchases are subject to credit approval and a fraud verification process. It can sometimes take up to 24 hours from the time of purchase to review your order unless you specify a future delivery date. You will receive a confirmation email when your order has been sent". I have immediately received a confirmation email that my order has been sent, but after 72 hours, my daughter still did not receive her IKEA eGift Card. There is an IKEA pending transaction on my credit credit card statement though.
I spent almost one hour on phone, on Christmas Eve, trying to solve the issue with IKEA customer support representatives and also with CashStar representative. They did not have a clue what happened with my order. The IKEA customer representative was very unprofessional and rude. He even argued with me and he questioned my integrity regarding the order! I am surprised and very disappointed with the IKEA eGiftCard service. This is unacceptable.
