Lots of details, but in a nutshell we ordered an item online, that was never delivered. After checking, and calling IKEA customer support probably 20 times (every time the line was busy, or after listening to 5 different prompts they said "we have a high caller volume, we cannot help you at this time, goodbye" and they hung up. After finally getting thru, they put me on hold, then several minutes later I got the "we're too busy, goodbye" message. Tried off/on for 2 more days to get thru to a person, and finally did. They said "it looks like your item got lost in shipping" so we will restart the whole process over... Now it's been several more days, we got NO email confirmation of the issue, and are trying (again) to track the shipment. Again, can't get thru to customer support, and when finally did chose the option to track an order, and again the system said "we're too busy, goodbye". IKEA customer service gets an F-minus.
