Ordered furniture from ikea website. The items were out of stock in store but were availble for online purchase. Paid for the items and got a confirmation email with an order number. After 3 days i was informed by IKEA that one of the item is not in stock and will be available after 2 months and therefore they have cancelled my order. Now my money is tied up with IKEA as the refund may take 1-3 weeks and in the meantime i am unable to buy the home furniture from anywhere else.
The item which IKEA told me is out of stock is still shown as available for online purchase and IKEA has not removed it from their website or listed as out of stock.
More customers will buy that item online and then will be disappointed after their orders will be cancelled by IKEA and their money gets tied up.
