Ikea has the WORST customer support ever! They are just as difficult to get a hold of as it is to build their products. I ordered a product online, and all I want to do is return it because it didn't work out and it is impossible to get a hold of them. There isn't an Ikea where I live so it's not like I can just drive to a store and return the product. When you call the customer service number, the only message you get is "We're experiencing higher volumes of calls than normal and we are unable to take your call right now" and then it hangs up on you or if you're able to get through to customer support, they say that's the Resolution Dept, let me transfer you, and then you get the same message above. You don't even have the option to leave a callback number or wait on the line. Plus when you email them, they DON'T respond. I would give them the benefit of the doubt if this was the first time but sadly it isn't. I always encounter some sort of problem with Ikea whenever I make a purchase from them. I've always wanted an "Ikea home" too, but it is very unfortunate and I can say I will NEVER buy from Ikea again.
And you think they have a good return policy right? Like 365 days to return something....well that's because that's probably how long it will take them to handle the return process. Absolutely ridiculous! Just avoid the headache.
