I might as well add to the list of one star reviews that we all undoubtedly hope could be zero stars.
Placed on online order April 27th, received email confirmation right away and my card was charged the full price - approx. $405 CAD. I don't even mind that the estimated date of arrival at my pick up point is May 5 (tomorrow), and the order tracking hasn't budged from the first step of "Preparing Order", that's okay I don't mind waiting a while longer considering the current state of the world. The thing that infuriates me is that my credit card was charged the full price for the THREE items I ordered plus shipping and taxes, but the order tracking for my order number is only showing TWO of the items I ordered AND PAID FOR with a price of $213. Even that wouldn't be so bad if it was at all even remotely possible to get a hold of customer support. Waiting on hold for over an hour, online chat doesn't work, no email address on the web site...
Like many others have said in these reviews, I too wish I had come across how criminally poor Ikea's customer service is before ordering, and I would not have ordered from these crooks. Yes the worldwide pandemic is making business challenging for everyone, why do all the other big box stores seem to have no issue with navigating this dilemma and providing adequate service to their customers? #BOYCOTTIKEA
