I placed an order on 4/3 and the delivery date said a month later... which is ridiculous but with Covid19 i thought ok they are just extending it out to make sure you do not expect it sooner. 5/4 comes and goes and nothing from Ikea... completely ghosted. Mind you... they had no problem charging my card the day after i ordered my items (who does that? don't they legally have to wait til an item ships? I've never heard of a company doing this). i have since completely paid my credit card bill, and the items haven't even shipped? after days of trying to get ahold of them and i finally get thru i am told that its fedex/ups fault??? how is that even possible when i have had countless orders from other retailers come in two days or less and earlier than the expected delivery date? while on the phone with customer service i am told they have 7-14 days to ship my items past the original delivery, and they had no care in the world that i have already paid in full for these items over 6 weeks ago!! I am now past the 14 days.... and STILL NOTHING!!! IKEA has lost a repeat customer! i have never seen a company act so careless.
