My Wife and I recently joined the Kent studio as we wanted to once again jump start our journey back into fitness. It's been on and off with Crossfit over the years but due to our injuries, we took some time off. Now considering it's a new year it's time to set new goals. We heard from a good friend in California where she has been kickboxing at the San Jose studio and she mentioned how ilkb changed her outlook in fitness. We were interested on finding a nearby studio which came to find out that the Kent studio was literally right down the street from us. The wife and I made the trip to visit the studio on a Saturday and sure enough first impressions of the studio was that it was clean and full of energy. There was actually a Saturday class in session at the time. We both loved the setup of the studio. It was well maintained and cozy. We ended up signing up for our first 6WC challenge to get our feet wet and jump right into it with our first class the following Monday. From there it was history. We absolutely love the constant support from the Instructors as well as an open line of communication with the Owner. The ilkbkent community is amazing and all egos are checked at the door. Nothing but positive vibes and love from each member. We transitioned just fine and now looking forward on the second 6WC (Six Week Challenge) to keep us motivated and get results. Keep in mind, it is all body weight and HIIT movements along with bag work all maximizing calorie and fat burning. So far I have dropped from a 26% body fat to 17.4% in 6 weeks and from 206lbs down to 192.4lbs as this month. We are very happy and just looking forward sharing our vision and goals with i love kickboxing.
